Targets and reported damage
The IDF said its March 28 strikes hit sites in Arak and Yazd, including a heavy-water plant at Arak, a defense ministry facility, and a plant producing missile components. On March 8, the IDF described strikes on two ballistic-missile production sites.
The nuclear sites had already been attacked in June 2025. The IAEA's incident entry records the June 22 attacks on Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow and reports no release beyond authorized limits or public or worker overexposure at that time. An assessment by Israel's Institute for National Security Studies after that earlier operation said the three major enrichment-related sites were severely damaged, while noting that Iran retained centrifuges and technical knowledge.
