Arabs vandalized an Israeli flag on a road near Kiryat Arba, the Judea and Samaria Situation Room reported on 3 November. The rioters left a note behind in Arabic.

A note left behind by the rioters reads in Arabic: “City of Shahids. The Black-Masked Men of the Sa’ir Battalion (Sa’ir is a town near Hebron) Will Never Die.”

“Shahid” is the term used to glorify terrorists killed while attacking Israelis. The note celebrates an armed local battalion from Sa’ir, just east of Hebron, as heroes who “will never die.” Vandalism with a message like this is not mischief. It is a declaration of support for armed attacks, left on a road Israelis drive every day.
