Karim Khan was suspended by the ICC's own governing body — the Bureau of the Assembly of States Parties, representing 125 member nations — following serious, independently investigated sexual misconduct allegations brought by multiple women; neither the United States nor Israel are ICC member states and hold no votes in the body that suspended him.

The "Death Penalty for Terrorists Law, 5786–2026" targets acts of terrorism defined by intent to destroy the State of Israel — not by the perpetrator's ethnicity or religion — and Jewish Israeli citizens who commit equivalent acts of terrorism are prosecuted and face severe penalties, including life imprisonment, under Israeli civilian law.

While documented incidents of settler harassment near Palestinian schools are real and condemned by Israeli authorities, Israel has no official policy of blocking Palestinian education — the Palestinian Authority operates its own independent school system under Oslo Accords jurisdiction, and settler violence is a fringe criminal problem actively recorded and increasingly prosecuted by Israeli security services, not a coordinated state directive.

The charges were dropped in March 2026 by an independent Military Advocate General on strict evidentiary grounds — because the footage did not meet the legal threshold for criminal conviction — not as a matter of policy. The soldiers had, in fact, been formally arrested and charged, which itself directly refutes the claim of official impunity.

This claim contains multiple compounding factual errors: Israel's post-war military presence has been in southern Lebanon south of the Litani River, not north of it; UN Resolution 1701 required Hezbollah—not Israel—to withdraw north of the Litani; Israel substantially completed its ceasefire-mandated withdrawal by February 2025; and the United States actively brokered that withdrawal rather than shielding Israel from it.

Israel's military campaign in Gaza was a direct, documented response to Hamas's October 7, 2023 massacre — the largest single-day murder of Jews since the Holocaust — and the word "genocide" has never been legally established against Israel by any court.

The UN's May 2026 listing of the Israel Prison Service on its Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV) annex is a preliminary, politically contested designation of "credible suspicion" — not a confirmed legal finding — and it does not equate Israel's conduct to the mass rape campaigns of Hamas, ISIS, or Boko Haram, which are listed for categorically different and far graver atrocities.

Israel has restricted unsupervised journalist access to an active war zone for documented security reasons — a practice standard among Western democracies including the United States — while Hamas itself has systematically intimidated and threatened reporters inside Gaza. The claim that a press restriction is self-evident proof of genocide commits a fundamental logical fallacy and ignores the extensive documentation of events in Gaza produced by Palestinian journalists, UN bodies, satellite imagery, and international investigators operating independently of Israel.

Iran's missile salvos were overwhelmingly intercepted by Israel's multi-layered air defense network, Iran's missile arsenal was cut roughly in half by Israeli and American strikes, and Tehran's supreme leader and top IRGC commanders were killed — the opposite of a strategic Iranian victory.

Trump's strikes on Iran — Operation Midnight Hammer (June 2025) and Operation Epic Fury (February 2026) — were grounded in documented national security imperatives, including Iran's near-weapons-grade uranium enrichment, decades of proxy warfare killing Americans, and formal U.S. legal justifications of self-defense. No credible evidence of a corrupt financial motive has ever been produced.

Israel is a liberal democracy in which Arab citizens enjoy full voting rights, serve in the Knesset and Supreme Court, and access the same public institutions as Jewish citizens; Gavin Newsom himself publicly retracted the "apartheid" label and stated he regretted using it.

No Israeli F-35s were shot down by Iran during Operation Roaring Lion. In documented reality, Israeli F-35I "Adir" jets operated freely over Iranian airspace, and it was an Israeli F-35 that shot down an Iranian fighter jet over Tehran — a historic first.

The United Nations General Assembly formally and decisively revoked this claim in 1991, passing Resolution 46/86 by a landslide vote of 111 to 25, explicitly revoking the 1975 Resolution 3379 that had equated Zionism with racism. Israel's February 2026 security cabinet decisions reactivate a long-frozen administrative land registration process rooted in pre-state Ottoman law, apply only to unregistered land in Area C, and cannot mathematically involve "millions of acres" — the entire West Bank encompasses fewer than 1.4 million acres in total.

The ICJ issued a non-binding advisory opinion in July 2024 on the legality of Israel's occupation — not a binding judgment, and not a formal declaration of apartheid. No such ruling creates any legal obligation for UN member states to sever ties with Israel.

The CPJ is a casualty-tracking organization, not a judicial or military investigative body; it has never issued a finding that Israel operates a deliberate policy of assassinating journalists, and independent analysis of its own data reveals that a significant proportion of those it counts as "journalists" were operatives of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist media organizations.

This claim is demonstrably false on every count: Israel's military operations are governed by codified rules of distinction and proportionality under international humanitarian law; Hamas systematically embedded its military infrastructure within civilian sites; and international law does not support the sweeping co-conspirator liability the claim invents.

The factual record is the precise opposite: Operation Roaring Lion, together with the U.S.-led Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury, destroyed Iran's nuclear infrastructure, degraded its ballistic missile arsenal by more than half, eliminated key nuclear scientists, and left the Islamic Republic's regime fighting for its political survival — while Israel simultaneously secured historic diplomatic breakthroughs with Gulf Arab states.

Israel's military operations in Lebanon constitute lawful self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, triggered by Hezbollah's unprovoked cross-border attacks launched the day after the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre; casualty figures cited by Lebanese authorities do not distinguish Hezbollah combatants from civilians, and "ethnic cleansing" — a term with a precise legal definition — has no application to a counterterrorism campaign that includes systematic civilian-evacuation warnings.

No credible reporting, including from the Washington Post, confirms that the IDF deliberately targeted civilians as a matter of official policy at aid sites; deaths near aid distribution points reflect a chaotic environment shaped by Hamas looting, armed criminal gangs, crowd crushes, and active combat zones — not a systematic Israeli extermination directive.

The operation — correctly named Operation Rising Lion, which began overnight on June 12, 2025 — was a preemptive act of self-defense launched hours after the IAEA formally declared Iran in breach of its nuclear non-proliferation obligations, against a regime that had directly attacked Israel with ballistic missiles and drones and had secretly accumulated enough enriched material for up to 17 nuclear weapons.

Iran's nuclear program was left in ruins by Operation Roaring Lion — with Fordow and Natanz destroyed, enriched uranium stockpiles buried under rubble, and not a single active enrichment facility remaining — while the ceasefire bound Iran to a permanent nuclear weapons prohibition, the return of IAEA inspectors, and a ballistic missile industry crippled to near-zero monthly output.

The specific viral images at the center of this claim depict children suffering from pre-existing medical conditions—including cerebral palsy and cystic fibrosis—not victims of Israeli starvation policy; meanwhile, Israel has facilitated nearly 1.9 million tons of humanitarian aid into Gaza, with documented evidence that Hamas and armed criminal networks have systematically looted and blocked distribution.

No ICC arrest warrant has been issued against Smotrich.
