The truth is precisely the opposite: the IDF has a documented, court-supervised legal architecture that requires advance legal sign-off on every targeted strike and mandates warnings to civilians, including journalists, before attacks on buildings.

The Facts: IDF Legal Doctrine and Journalist Safety
